- A CERTAIN RATIO have shared a new track from their eagerly anticipated new album, ACR Loco.Revitalised by their most successful tour in over two decades, the band returned to the studio to record their first album in 12 years – due for release on Mute on 25 September 2020. Listen to ‘Yo Yo Gi’ – an irresistible slice of ACR which fuses funk, techno and world music, in the way that.
- Manchester's A Certain Ratio (ACR) was one of the first new wave-era outfits to use horns and other instruments to play a soulful brand of contemporary music that defied prevalent trends but proved significantly influential. The Graveyard cassette compiles '79 material — half studio work produ.
- With the Creation reissues of A Certain Ratio's catalog becoming increasingly tough to track down and with the post-punk revival going on around the time of its release, Early arrived right on time. Despite an uneven discography and an inexplicably numerous string of Joy Division comparisons, ACR was an excellent - if inconsistent - post-punk.

Boomkat Product Review:
Bonus to the ACR:BOX, a new pressing of Bernard Sumner/Johnny Marr’s Electronic remix, among others, of A Certain Ratio club classics, ’Shack Up’ and ‘Dirty Boy’
![Fandom Fandom](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/H-vgmjzjkLc/hqdefault.jpg)
Keeping it local, Manchester’s Chris Massey kicks off with a sleazy house remix of ‘Dirty Boy’ alongside a natty ‘Nine In The Afternoon’ electro-acid remix from Paul Dering coming closer tot he jazz-funked OG. On the flipside Bernard Sumner/Johnny Marr give rutting techno-house remixes of ’Shack Up’ in a naughty piano and synth driven ‘Work Mix’ and the more concise ‘Wipe Out Mix.’

AIR Music Tech Transfuser v2.0.7 [WIN] | Go AudiO.
